Why sanding dust escapes

On-tool extraction can capture much of the dust produced by a sander, but airflow can be interrupted by edges, contours, holes and changes in hand position. A downdraft surface draws escaped material downward around the workpiece.

Draw, trap, return

The blower draws air through the perforated wood top. Pleated panel filters in a slide-out drawer trap collected material, and filtered air returns to the shop.

Choose by the work, not only the room

The useful footprint should support the pieces you sand most often. Larger Dust-Pro models also provide higher rated airflow, ranging from 2,400 to 4,000 CFM across the line.
